5 Family Favourite Springtime Activities In Windsor

Windsor-Essex has lots of activities to do in the springtime.

Here are my 5 recommendations to local families looking for something fun to do, or for people visiting while looking at houses to buy.

1. Windsor farmers market is open to the public and runs every Saturday 9-2pm until October 26. This market features fresh produce and artisan food products for parents. There is also a kids corner to entertain the children. Families can also enjoy art exhibits, live entertainment and more.

2. Remark fresh markets is another farmers market in Windsor. These are great opportunities to teach children about where food comes from with people connected to that process. It may also give picky eaters a chance to try new things in a fun and exciting setting.

3. Adventure Bay Family Water Park is the favorite choice of many people looking for a fun family outing on a warm day. Of course the park is inside, so the weather is not that important. Most people will not go to a water park in winter, but thankfully spring seems around the corner. Water park family fun time season is arriving!

4. Sir Cedric’s Fish & Chips is a 40 year staple of the Windsor community. Everybody loves their fish and chips. They would make a great dinner after a long day at the water park.

5. Vito’s Pizzeria makes some of the best pizza and panini in town, and we all know it. No picky child or frustrated mom is going to turn down Vito’s pizza.
